ADULT LEGS SEQUENCE: In order of leg sequence; 12 Mile Bike (open road course), 5K Run on College Campus, 400m Pool Swim. As per the City of Santa Fe and College of Santa Fe the Adult Pool Swim Leg will require the participant to swim in each lane twice then transition to the next lane in a “serpentine” method. After completing the last lane leg exit to the finish on the outdoor patio. TCR did not design and is NOT RESPONSIBLE for the Adult POOL Leg Sequence flow.
KIDS COURSE In order of leg sequence 1 Mile Bike, 1 Mile Run, 200m Pool Swim
AWARDS: All finishers will receive a finish ribbon.
ADULT INDIVIDUAL 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male and female finishers in
each age category will receive a medal
CLYDESDALE MEN and ATHENA WOMEN 1st finishers
BOYS and GIRLS 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age category will receive a medal
RULES:
The Santa Fe Sprint Triathlon is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned race and all
participants must comply with RULES.

Race Numbers and Ankle Timing Tag
All athletes are required to wear the ankle timing tag at all times during
the race.
TIMING TAG AND BODY MARKING, Kids: 7:00 AM Saturday June 21st - Adults: 6:00 AM Sunday June 22nd
CLYDESDALE MEN and ATHENA WOMEN Weigh beginning at 6:00 am to 6:30am at the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center, 6401 Richards Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87508.
Race Numbers and Ankle Timing Tag:
Individuals: Bibs must be located on the chest area and tri-tag on the ankle.
Teams: Team Biker and runner must have a bib located on the chest area and swimmers must have a tri-tag on the ankle.
Numbers must be clearly visible at all times.
Bike to Run:
Adult race choose your bike rack position starting at 6:00am to 6:30am
Kids race choose your bike rack position starting at 6:30am to 7:30am
Dismount your bike, then run alongside your bike, pushing it into
transition zone. When you get to your spot, rack your bike by the seat
(just as you did before the race), then proceed with transitioning to the
run.
Assistance:
No assistance other than that offered by race staff (including
volunteers), medical officials and active participants may be used. A
participant shall not physically assist the forward progress of another
participant on any part of the course.
Headphones and Communication Devices:
Participants may carry a phone (such as, mounted on bike handlebars
or in an arm band) but may not use communication devices of any type
- including but not limited to cell phones, smart watches and two-way
radios - in any distractive manner during the competition. A distractive
manner includes but is not limited to making or receiving phone calls,
sending or receiving text messages, playing music, using social media,
taking photographs or using one- or two-way radio communication.
Using any communication device in this manner during the competition
may result in disqualification.
